Lane 3000 Device Setup

Step 1 Plug In the Device

After you’ve removed the Lane 3000 from the box, locate the power cables. Plug the two connector cables together, then plug the main cord into the back of the Lane 3000. Then plug the power cord into the wall outlet and plug the ethernet cables into the back of your router.

Step 2 Power On the Device

Once the cords have all been connected into their correct sources, the Lane 3000 will boot itself up and will show a blue screen. From this screen, you will be ready to process payments.

Step 3 Begin Taking Payments

Now that your device is powered on and connected to your router, you will be able to send payments from your iOS device or the Web Dashboard to the Lane 3000 and your customer will be able to make the payment.

Step 1 Open the Sky Systemz Application

Open your iPad to the main screen and find the Sky Systemz app. Tap the app to open it and enter your username and password (if prompted).

Step 2 Go to the Terminal Screen

Navigate to the terminal screen within the Sky Systemz app. A calculator will appear where you can enter the amount you would like to charge the customer. After inputting the desired charge amount, click the charge button.

Step 3 Select Payment Type

After you’ve clicked the charge button you will receive a screen where you can select the payment type. Select the first option, send to datacap. After selecting send to datacap you will see a screen where you can hit send to tereminal.

Step 4 Process the Payment

After sending the charge to the terminal, the Lane 3000 will light up with the payment screen. The customer can then insert, tap or swipe their card and push accept. Once payment is complete it will say sale approved and the customer can remove their card and select how they would like to receive their receipt.

Step 1 Navigate to the Sky Systemz Web Dashboard

On your computer open Google Chrome and navigate to www.skysystemz.com. Once there, enter your username and password. After entering your credentials, you will be taken to the dashboard.

Step 2 Go to the Terminal Screen

After you have logged in, navigate to the Digit POS option in the left sidebar. A calculator will appear where you can enter the amount you would like to charge the customer. After inputting the desired charge amount, click the charge button.

Step 3 Select Payment Type

After you’ve clicked the charge button you will receive a screen where you can select the payment type. Select the Reader option from that screen. After selecting reader, you will see a screen where you can select the device type. Select the Lane 3000 option and click send to reader.

Step 3 Process the Payment

After sending the charge to the terminal, your computer will say processing and the Lane 3000 will light up with the payment screen. The customer can then insert, tap or swipe their card and push accept. Once payment is complete it will say sale approved and the customer can remove their card and select how they would like to receive their receipt.
